We’re lucky here in Pennsylvania–Sweetest Day isn’t celebrated everywhere else in the country. Started in Cleveland in the early 1920s, this was a day designed by a group of candy makers who, well, wanted to sell candy. But the idea caught on, and soon communities across the midwest were exchanging chocolates and candies of all stripes with their sweethearts and loved ones. Held on October 20, Neubauer’s Flowers thinks this is one sweet occasion–pardon the pun. We see it as fall’s Valentine’s Day, a time to give our favorite people a special treat and to remind them that we love them.
And what’s the best way to do that? Send along a bunch of Sweet & Sincere Spray Roses to that special someone, or have them waiting on the dining room table when that special someone gets home. Yes you can add a box of your recipient’s favorite candy on the side, but sometimes all you need to express exactly how you feel is an array of roses in reds and pinks and whites, flecked by baby’s breath and greenery.
Take part in the tradition of Sweetest Day and make your sweetheart swoon.
