How did you get into floral work?
My first time working at a flower shop was in 1985. I worked at a small shop in a mall. My mother had a love for gardening and flower arranging, and I thought I’d give it try. I loved it!
How excited are you for Valentine’s Day? If the answer is “a lot,” then we here at Neubauer’s Flowers are here to tell you, the entire month is worth that excitement. February is officially designated “Creative Romance Month,” so if you love love, you’re in luck.
That said, it can be hard to know exactly how to be creative in expressing your love. You can be inventive about dates, surprises and gifts, and it’s in that latter area that we come in.
Here at Neubauer’s Flowers, we love a good design challenge. And when you bring your custom orders to us, that’s exactly how we see it – as an exciting chance to show off our creativity and expertise. We love the idea of designing something unique to you and the relationship you have with the person you are buying flowers for. Since floral gifts are so emotional, it’s important to us to make sure that we create something for you that really captures the quality of your feelings.
At Neubauer’s Flowers, we cherish classic looks and beloved blooms, but we’re always interested in a fresh take on floral design, too. We like to think about ways we can make traditional flowers feel new and dynamic, which is why International Floral Distributors annual trend report – and forecasts like it – can give us a lot of inspiration. Creativity, visual appeal and a sense of adventure in floral work are just as important to us as quality, convenience and unsurpassed customer service.
In this week’s blog, we focus on one of the four trends identified for 2018 by IFD.
