Ready to spend the next year exploring the world of purple? Pantone, the color company, thinks so, naming its 2018 Color Of The Year “Ultra Violet.” This complex jewel-tone is intriguing, somewhat meditative, even cosmic. It can be read a few different ways, in fact, and that’s why we here at Neubauer’s Flowers are excited to embrace it. Pantone’s Color Of The Year will certainly have an influence on how we decorate our spaces in the coming year – ever since 2000, designers, florists and other creatives have awaited their top color selection, knowing that it will inspire their own work.
One way to get in on the purple trend is to introduce it to your decor scheme through flowers. Luckily, there are some beautiful blooms that represent in that range. So put down the paint bucket for that accent wall, and pick up something like our Sweet Thought Bouquet instead.
The purples here – and there are several flowers coaxing out that color – add a lot of depth and mystery to what would otherwise be a pretty straightforward romantic bouquet. The added complexity is part of the feeling Pantone is capturing in its color choice, and we think its a welcome enrichment to our floral designs.
