Galentine’s Day is one of the greatest fictional holidays to ever be imported from the small screen to real life. The idea arose from a 2010 episode of Parks and Recreation, which saw main character Leslie Knope take all of her ladies out for lunch and proclaim February 13th Galentine’s Day, “only the best day of the year.”

We here at Neubauer’s Flowers love the idea of a day devoted entirely to celebrating female friendships and also the opportunity to create new traditions and rituals around it.
